Tons of Tiny and D.E.S.I.G.N. for September

Heyo,

I had this project done on September 28th but have been avoiding making a blog post because it takes me so darn long to do.

More Mucha Patterns + Tons of Tiny and D.E.S.I.G.N. for August

Hi crafters!

This month leads me to the most exciting news that Hannah-Alexander has allowed me to create a second set of patterns based on her Mucha fanart: Tinkerbell, Esmerelda, and Mulan. It is very likely that I will be able to do more patterns based on more princesses in the future, as long as all these go well (which I'm very confident that they will). These patterns will be of similar size and difficulty to the first set so that everything matches (wouldn't it just be glorious to have all of them stitched and hanging together on a wall of their own?!). You can buy the current set, and the future set, via my Etsy store. Currently I'm just awaiting the non-watermarked artwork from Hannah to start work. Until then, the full plate I presented to you last month has shrunk just a bit.

Tons of Tiny and D.E.S.I.G.N. for July

Good morning crafters,

I'm getting worse about updating the blog and I do apologize for it. There's a lot of events going on right now and my days just get surprisingly busy despite not much finished work to show for it! My current work pile is as follows, and then below there will be some pictures:
- Butterfly Xstitch with beads for Stitchingpirates's contest
- Apprenticeship work for seamstress training (once a week right now)
- Birds Xstitch (for future sale)
- Star Trek Bead Dress
- Princess Daisy Bead Dress
- Glasmond's Between Day and Night Xstitch (to be mailed to her finished)
- Xstitch Pattern Re-Make for Mattsma
- Xstitch Pattern for Miskumi
- Xstitch [surprise gift] MLP
- Real Person sized robe-dress
- Two Wedding Samplers Xstitch
- One Baby Sampler Xstitch
- Beaded Cake Kit from Katie Dean
- Barbie, Monster High, and Ever After High Bead Dress Prototypes
- Kitchen Xstitch (for future sale)
- HAED Storykeep Xstitch (my first HAED)
As you can see, my plate is full! Even though only two of these events have technical due dates I find myself shuffling between everything rather frequently and the end result is, well, less submissions for large projects. And on top of all of that I still have to thank 1,513 people from April for the big front-page boom that was Hannah Alexander's Mucha Princesses.

D.E.S.I.G.N. and Tons of Tiny for June

Hello marshmallows,

This month was mostly behind-the-scenes things like pattern work on Glasmond's piece, playing catch-up with messages on deviantART (I still have 1,800 people to thank!), and further practice on actual sewing - like for dresses. Because it's mostly stuff that makes no sense to photograph it makes things look a little bare, but trust me! Things are definitely going on.

Magazine! Monochrome Eumelia! Tons of Tiny and D.E.S.I.G.N.!

Good morning lovelies,

This month has cascaded from a couple set aside plans to a lot getting done. My closet pile is now two pieces smaller, my grandpa got remarried, the second bead dress of the year was finished, the Barbie prototype is getting her skirt, my pattern work on Glasmond's piece is starting, oh... and that's right, I'm now PUBLISHED in a magazine!! Four pages all to myself! I can't contain my happiness, and though I'm sure it's been over a hundred times already, I'm going to thank Katie Dean of Bead Flowers again... it's just way too incredible. You can find me in the June/July 2015 issue number 63.

Hannah-Alexander's Mucha Princesses and the Front Page Feature

Good afternoon marshmallows,

This week has lasted much longer than any other this year. It has been busy, stressful, full of excitement, sad, and overjoyed. This post will cover from Easter (the 5th) to now which covers more ground than I could've thought possible so let's get started with the largest event and move down the list: The Disney Mucha Girls designed by Hannah-Alexander that I was converting into cross-stitch patterns are finished!

You can view a larger image and learn more [here].
You can PreOrder them through [here] or [here] but please do not comment on this blog post to make your order because Blogger hates me and won't let me reply to comments. You could also message me via [etsy] directly. They're $20 each or $55 for a set of all three.

D.E.S.I.G.N. and Tons of Tiny Events - March

Hello my ever-busy stitchers,

This month has been a bit of a flurry for me with hardly a moment of real rest. I applied for a real job-job (my very first) at the beginning of the month, was called back the second week, worked the third week, and by the following Wednesday they told me that they were looking for someone more experienced. "That's funny," I thought with a very sour face, "three weeks ago they didn't seem to mind that they'd have to train me!" That particular event ate up a lot of my time this month as did a rather harsh bout of illness. I'm nearly healthy now with just a pointless cough.

Between all that I did manage to get some artwork done which is good, so let's get to it.

D.E.S.I.G.N. and Tons of Tiny

Hello hello,

Since the last update I've been working on the Mucha patterns, monochrome Eumelia, sorting through my DMC thread (just missing a handful of colors now), the piece I'm about to display for you now, and various other projects about the house. March should prove to be the end for each of these projects and the beginning of another set. Mom has also bought up a couple bunches of pendants for me to use as focal pieces in jewelry creation.

February - WIP on Mucha Girls

Hello my ever-so-patient artsy friends,

February has seemed like a slow month for me when I look at the Facebook posts but it's just because there's not a lot of progress to show that'll look very interesting. I felt the same way when I was first posting my beaded dress progress photos - I thought, "nobody is going to understand what's going on here, it's only interesting to me!" but look! You guys love seeing the progress and so I've continued posting them, now even I feel proud of my WIP shots.

Since working on patterns so in-depth is a new thing for me I'm feeling that again. I'm saying, "nobody is going to want to see all these funny symbols and lines of a WIP pattern" especially when it doesn't reflect what the final stitching is going to look like! And along the same thoughts I can't share it too entirely because these are patterns after all and are going to be sold.

Princess Peach - Finished and Loved

Hello Nintendo fans,

It's true! Finally, after months of planning and work, my Princess Peach pattern (based on her Super Smash Brothers design) has come to a successful end. The lovely GraniteFire designed me a watermark that I've used for the first time on Peach's photos.

You can read the full description on deviantART.

D.E.S.I.G.N. and Tons of Tiny stitcher events

Hello stitchers!

This week was spent entirely on creating Princess Peach's beaded sleeves and finishing up that butterfly cross-stitch I'd been working on. All the sleeve progress can currently be seen on Facebook. As for the butterfly, it's being featured here for the two stitching events my friends signed me up for: D.E.S.I.G.N. and Tons of Tiny.

New Year 2015

Good afternoon crafty types,

Plenty has happened between now and my previous post, and the delay was a wonderful long-term visit from friends and family alike. Friday (the 9th) was when our last guest left and so I've been able to find the time to get back on the computer to post for you all.
